Every listing shows the jurisdictions where we’ve confirmed an active licence with the state bar. It is the minimum a directory owes the public, so it is not part of any purchase — paid or not, you have it.

A broader factual claim — identity, licence and standing, checked with you. Indigo with a check mark, never gold, because it is a record, not an award. Your profile also carries a dotted “Enhanced profile” tag, so clients can see the presentation was paid for.

Annual recognition under our selection methodology, with its own gold seal, strip, compact badge and email signature. Holding an Enhanced Profile does not grant it, improve your odds, or put you in a different queue. Selection is not available for purchase.
A badge or a ranking only means something to a client if it could not be bought. So these are off the table, at any price.
What a complete profile does change

Your profile displays a link to your website and your phone number, and you are eligible for discovery on relevant practice, city and county pages and for Save, Compare and Match.
No. Payment does not affect standard ranking order, Match scores or Match ordering. A complete, accurate profile does help clients see how you fit — because there is more information to compare against.
No. Selected is annual recognition earned under our selection methodology. Selection is not available for purchase, and holding an Enhanced Profile does not improve your odds. The gold assets come with Selected only.
Licence confirmed is free on every listing: we checked the public bar record. Verified Lawyer is broader — identity, licence and standing, checked with you — and is included with the Enhanced Profile. They look different on purpose.

You get a receipt by email. Your purchase is connected to your listing — claimed if we already list you, created if not — and you complete it from your dashboard. Verification runs with you, and the Verified Lawyer badge and certificate are released when it passes.
